Position Title: GMT / Maintenance Helper
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Clearance Requirements: None
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Position Description:
Looking for a dedicated Maintenance Helper to support our facility operations in Milwaukee, WI. This contract-to-hire role involves assisting with material handling, general labor functions, and supporting skilled tradesmen. You will work under minimal supervision with daily interactions with external suppliers and clients, ensuring smooth maintenance and operational workflows. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the movement of materials and furniture to support daily operations.
• Provide general labor assistance to skilled maintenance and trades personnel.
• Support preventive maintenance (PM) activities as assigned.
• Transport tools and maintenance materials using a pallet jack.
• Collaborate with external vendors and team members to ensure efficient workflows.
• Perform other duties as directed to meet operational needs.

Top Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5 years relevant maintenance or general labor experience
• Valid driver's license with applicable certifications/licenses

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in warehouse or industrial environments
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational manuals
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
