Appeals Coordinator

Managing the oversight of appeals investigations, the full-time Senior Coordinator of Appeals will coach and mentor new staff, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and handle escalated cases in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Oversee the investigation and resolution of appeals scenarios, coordinating responses from multiple business units Identify trends and emerging issues, providing recommendations and coaching others on compliance with regulations Serve as the point of contact for inquiries from leadership and regulators, ensuring timely and accurate responses to appeals Required qualifications 2-4 years of experience in a Customer Service role 2-4 years of Medicare and/or Medicaid knowledge Experience with clinical and claim platforms, benefits, and compliance regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing high inventory High School Diploma or GED required or 2-4 years of equivalent work experience
