Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy programs designed to help them reach their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily routines.
• Collaborate with a Diverse Team: Work in close partnership with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises and techniques to foster ongoing progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Assess and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective healing.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Commitment to ongoing education and advanced certifications is encouraged and supported.

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.
