A school district in California is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher (Moderate/Severe) for a 1:1 elementary placement.

Assignment Dates:

• ASAP start
• 2026–2027 school year

Schedule:

• Part-Time
• 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Position Overview:

• Provide specialized instruction in a moderate/severe special education setting
• Work 1:1 with a 2nd grade student
• Support academic, behavioral, and functional skill development
• Implement and monitor IEP goals
• Collaborate with support staff and related service providers
• Maintain documentation and progress reporting

Caseload Details:

• Currently 1 student (2nd grade)
• Potential for additional student (2 total max noted)
• Moderate/Severe special education setting

Requirements:

• Active California Moderate/Severe Special Education Credential required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field (required for credentialing)
• School-based SPED experience preferred
• Experience working with moderate/severe needs strongly preferred
