Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, and NIH certifications, with night shift scheduling and float responsibilities.

Details

• Hospital ICU setting
• May be required to float to Med/Surg Telemetry unit during low census periods, with patient ratios of 5-6:1 when floating
• Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• 36 or 48 hours per week considered
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH Stroke Scale, 6 hours of Stroke education (can be provided if needed), and EKG course completion (can be provided if needed)
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted

Additional Information

• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could cause a positive result, including CBD products, prior to their onsite drug screen
