Job Title: Production Worker 2nd & 3rd shift

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and a tape measure to follow work instructions and assemble various components for flooring and drop ceiling products.
• Perform general production and assembly tasks while meeting established production standards for speed and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Press, Weld, Paint (PWP) department.
• Efficiently load and unload the paint system, including sealing, labeling, and stacking various panels according to established standards.
• Inspect panels and parts to verify that specifications meet quality standards while maintaining required production rates, and promptly notify appropriate personnel of any issues.
• Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately and on time as required by department procedures.
• Use banding equipment and hand-jacks to move and store product and materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas and follow established safety procedures at all times.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions, including the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.
• Maintain awareness of how your work contributes to quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance objectives, and report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
• Learn and maintain working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Fill & Clean department.
• Position parts and monitor operations on equipment in the Fill & Clean department while producing product at established production standards.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of panels and parts in the Fill & Clean department to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards, and escalate issues as needed.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation for the Fill & Clean department.
• Consistently support a clean, organized, and safe work environment across all assigned areas.

Essential Skills

• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively in a production or assembly environment.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately to follow work instructions and verify part dimensions.
• Experience performing general labor, production, or assembly work in a manufacturing setting.
• Comfort lifting up to 30–35 lbs independently several times per shift and participating in team lifting for heavier items.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions, including standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail for inspecting parts and panels to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Ability to complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift on a Monday–Friday or Sunday–Thursday schedule, as assigned.
• Commitment to maintaining good housekeeping and adhering to all safety procedures and policies.
• Experience using power tools in a production or assembly environment.
• Previous exposure to machine operation in manufacturing; machine operation experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with micrometers and calipers for measuring and inspecting parts is a plus.
• Experience using banding equipment and hand-jacks to move and secure materials.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Lion, PA.

The pay range for this position is $19.35 - $19.35/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Red Lion,PA.
