Senior Amazon Performance Marketing Manager (Morristown)

Pay Range: $47.14hr - $52.14hr Job Overview: The Senior Performance Marketing Manager Amazon is responsible for leading the end-to-end Amazon media strategy, execution, optimization, and measurement across a portfolio of brands. This role owns Amazon Advertising investment, performance outcomes, and strategic planning to drive incremental sales, share growth, customer acquisition, and profitable market share expansion. The ideal candidate combines deep Amazon Ads expertise with strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and cross-functional leadership. The successful candidate will partner closely with Sales, Brand, Finance, Content, and Amazon stakeholders to develop integrated growth strategies and maximize return on media investment. Key Responsibilities: Amazon Media Strategy & Planning:

• The candidate will develop and execute annual and quarterly Amazon performance marketing strategies aligned with eCommerce revenue and profit objectives.
• The candidate will build media investment plans across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Amazon DSP, Video, and emerging Amazon advertising solutions.
• The candidate will identify category, keyword, and audience growth opportunities to accelerate brand and portfolio performance.
• The candidate will establish testing roadmaps focused on innovation, incrementality, customer acquisition, and efficiency improvements.

Campaign Management & Optimization:

• The candidate will lead planning, execution, and optimization of Amazon advertising campaigns.
• The candidate will drive continuous improvements in performance marketing metrics such as ROAS, CPC, Conversion rate, New to brand Sales, and Share of Voice.
• The candidate will monitor campaign pacing and budget allocation to ensure delivery against financial and business objectives.
• The candidate will implement advanced bidding, audience targeting, and retail readiness strategies.

Analytics & Measurement: Analyze performance data to uncover actionable insights and growth opportunities. Utilize Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), Amazon Marketing Stream, Retail Analytics, Profitero, and other reporting platforms. Develop executive-level reporting and performance reviews. Establish measurement frameworks to quantify incremental impact and contribution to total business growth. Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Amazon National Account Managers to align media investments with business goals. Collaborate with Content and Digital Shelf teams to improve conversion and customer experience. Work closely with Brand Teams on innovation launches, tentpole events, and seasonal activation planning. Partner with Finance to manage budgets, forecasting, and investment justification. Innovation & Capability Building: Evaluate emerging Amazon advertising products and industry best practices. Lead experimentation across AI-powered optimization, audience targeting, creative enhancements, and measurement solutions. Develop scalable playbooks and best practices for future growth. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Communications, or related field. MBA preferred. Experience: 7+ years of digital/performance marketing experience. 4+ years directly managing Amazon Advertising programs. Experience within CPG, retail media, eCommerce, or omnichannel marketing environments. Technical Skills:

• Advanced expertise in:

Strong understanding of Amazon Sponsored Ads. Amazon DSP. Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC). Amazon Marketing Stream. Retail Analytics. Profitero. Excel / Power BI. Digital shelf optimization. Attribution models. Audience targeting. Incrementality measurement. Retail media ecosystems. Key Competencies: Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect media investments to broader business growth objectives. Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations. Commercial Acumen: Understanding of Amazon retail dynamics, category management, and P&L impacts. Cross-Functional Influence: Ability to influence stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Brand, and external partners. Execution Excellence: Strong program management skills with attention to detail and operational rigor. Career Level Recommendation Level:
