Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Liberty, MO

Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Hours/week: 36 hours/week

Employment Type: Contract / Temporary

Licenses/Certifications: Active RN license in Missouri, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required

Experience: Minimum 1 year of PCU RN experience; high acuity drip, arterial line, BIPAP/airvo experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a step-down or PCU environment
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and manage high acuity drips
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond swiftly to patient needs and emergency situations
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training as required
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care

What You Need

Required:

• Active Missouri RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU RN experience
• Ability to float to other units if needed

Preferred:

• Experience with high acuity drips, arterial lines, BIPAP, Airvo equipment
