Medication Access Coordinator

To support patient medication needs, the full-time Medication Access Coordinator will obtain prior authorizations for medications, conduct benefit investigations, and serve as a liaison with insurance companies while working remotely from Pennsylvania. Key responsibilities Complete prior authorization and document referrals for medications based on third-party payer criteria Maintain knowledge of patient assistance programs and eligibility requirements, ensuring accurate enrollment paperwork Communicate with the care team regarding authorization statuses and assist in educating providers and patients on specialty services Required qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required A minimum of 2 years of related work experience is required Knowledge of pharmacy reimbursement methodologies is preferred Experience with medical terminology and the healthcare industry is beneficial Proficiency in computer literacy and customer service skills is essential
