Founders School is a four-year high school where students launch genuine companies with the goal of reaching $1M in profit before they graduate. Annual tuition stands at $150K, backed by a guarantee: $1M in profit by graduation, or full tuition refunded. The inaugural cohort of 20 students will begin in New York City in Fall 2026, with plans to grow to 1,000 students over time. The families we serve are exceptionally accomplished and discerning—many with net worths ranging from hundreds of millions into the billions. Every one of those relationships, from initial contact through enrollment and well beyond, must be owned by someone. That someone is you. This role resembles investor relations at an elite fund far more than traditional school admissions. You will manage a portfolio of high-net-worth prospects, guide them through a rigorous engagement process, secure their commitment to a substantial decision, and then sustain that relationship over the long term—so their confidence deepens, they re-enroll, enroll siblings, and bring in referrals. What You Will Be Doing Taking full ownership of the pipeline of qualified prospective families—whether a lead arrives inbound, through an event, or via referral, it becomes a genuine relationship with you as the central point. You\'ll conduct regular calls, maintain thoughtful follow-up, and either answer every question yourself or find the answer quickly. Organizing and hosting events that unite prospective and enrolled families—ranging from larger informational sessions to more exclusive dinners and receptions. Shepherding families through the application and due-diligence process—articulating what the school offers, how the guarantee works, and what the journey looks like, guiding them from curiosity to enrollment without resorting to high-pressure tactics. Maintaining ongoing engagement with every family in the ecosystem—those still deciding, those already enrolled, and those with younger siblings on the horizon. Proactive outreach ensures families hear from you before they need to reach out. Serving as the human embodiment of Founders School for these families, and constructing the repeatable relationship and enrollment system that enables the program to function and scale. Collaborating directly with the heads of school who handle the highest-tier conversations early on, while you establish the infrastructure beneath them. Much like a fund, the calendar operates in two distinct phases: an active season where you cultivate relationships with prospective families and guide them toward commitment, and a stewardship season where you keep enrolled families engaged, informed, and satisfied enough to renew their trust and introduce others. What You Won’t Be Doing Selling. There are no commissions, no quotas, and no aggressive closing tactics. If a family ever feels pushed, we have failed. You are not a salesperson; you are the person they trust most throughout this decision. Managing selectivity. Traditional admissions revolves around rejecting applicants at schools with 4% acceptance rates. We are building something new and persuading exceptional families to take a calculated risk on it. Handing off families and stepping away. The relationship does not conclude with the deposit—that is merely the start of a multi-year relationship you continue to own. Getting buried in logistics. Scheduling, paperwork, and enrollment administration are managed by operations. Your focus remains on the families themselves. Private Wealth Advisor Key Responsibilities Within six months, you will own the complete pipeline of prospective families in NYC—each will have a genuine relationship with you, and the heads of school will no longer be the constraint on any relationship outside the top tier. The families in the Fall 2027 cohort will have been personally guided from initial interest through enrollment, every enrolled family will be on a proactive outreach schedule, and you will have developed the first iteration of the messaging framework and relationship playbook that does not currently exist. At the twelve-month mark, the NYC enrollment process will operate through you as a structured system, not a chaotic effort—you will be able to describe the pipeline, conversion metrics, and the status of every family relationship at any moment. Enrolled families will be renewing their confidence and bringing in referrals; retention and referral outcomes will be demonstrably under your stewardship. As the program expands toward 1,000 students across multiple cities, you will build and lead the enrollment team reporting to you—recruiting, training, and defining the family experience across all campuses. You are entering at the foundational stage of the function that will determine whether Founders School attracts and retains the right families. Basic Requirements You are authentically comfortable and effective building relationships with high-net-worth individuals. You have done this in a previous role—investor relations, private wealth management, private-client sales, luxury hospitality at the Four Seasons or Aman level, high-end real estate, or comparable—and you can engage with someone worth a billion dollars, understand their idiosyncrasies, and relate as a peer rather than a subordinate. This is non-negotiable. You are motivated by relationships, not transactions. You would be uncomfortable in a high-pressure, commission-driven environment, and you are driven by the desire to build something enduring and exceptional rather than simply hitting a target. You are organized and self-directed enough to manage an entire pipeline independently. Nothing slips through, and no family ever feels neglected after they commit. You are based in or willing to relocate to New York, NY within 60 days. You are legally authorized to work in the United States.
