Job Title: Surfacing Technician
Hours:

• Monday: 3:00 PM – 12:30 AM
• Tuesday – Thursday: 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM
• Friday: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM
  (During busy season, possible extended Friday shift every other week: 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM)

Starting Pay: $17 per hour About the RoleAre you seeking a hands-on position in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Surfacing Technician. In this critical role, you will be an essential part of our daily operations, finishing and smoothing high-quality glass lenses to meet exact customer specifications. Key Responsibilities

• Operate specialized machinery to precisely grind and smooth glass lenses per order requirements.
• Inspect lenses for quality and accuracy, ensuring each product meets company and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and project completion.
• Assist with equipment upkeep and minor troubleshooting as needed.
• Uphold safety guidelines and keep a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or hands-on labor is highly valued
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are a must.
• Willingness to work a late-day/overnight schedule and occasionally extended shifts during busy times.
