You'll have the opportunity to help shape recruiting processes, build strong talent pipelines, and play a critical role in delivering an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy juggling multiple priorities, and want to be part of building something new, we'd love to meet you.What You'll DoAs a Recruiting Coordinator, you'll be at the center of the hiring process—partnering with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, universities, agencies, and community organizations to attract and hire top talent.Talent Sourcing & Candidate EngagementSource and identify qualified candidates through various channels.Review resumes and help shortlist candidates for open positions.Conduct initial phone screenings using standardized interview guides.Initiate first contact with prospective candidates and maintain engagement throughout the hiring process.Manage candidate pipelines and ensure accurate status updates in Workday.Verify and track candidate sourcing information during onboarding.Interview CoordinationSchedule interviews and coordinate calendars between candidates and hiring teams.Send interview confirmations and follow-up communications.Partner with hiring managers to gather interview feedback and keep hiring processes moving efficiently.Ensure candidates have a positive and professional experience throughout the recruitment journey.Recruiting OperationsCreate and submit requisition requests within Workday.Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting documentation.Support temporary-to-permanent employee conversions.Assist with drug screen and background check processes.Help keep recruiting workflows organized, compliant, and efficient.Recruitment Marketing & Social MediaPost and promote open positions across job boards, social media channels, company pages, and state employment websites.Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to increase visibility and candidate engagement.Research competitor hiring activity and market trends.Support innovative sourcing strategies that help attract top talent.Reporting & AnalyticsGenerate recruitment metrics and hiring status reports.Prepare weekly open requisition reports and identify aging positions.Support vendor and agency management by maintaining recruiting partner information and contracts.Deliver insights that help drive hiring decisions and recruiting effectiveness.Career Events & Community PartnershipsHelp coordinate career fairs, recruiting events, and open houses.Support university recruiting initiatives and internship programs.Build relationships with vocational schools and community organizations to strengthen talent pipelines.Research industry associations and networking groups to expand outreach efforts.Pre-Onboarding & New Hire ExperienceYou'll help ensure every new employee has a smooth and welcoming start by:Coordinating background checks and drug screenings.Monitoring onboarding milestones and Workday activities.Partnering with HR, IT, and hiring managers to ensure new hires are ready on day one.Coordinating equipment requests and onboarding logistics.Sending welcome gifts and helping create a positive new hire experience.What You BringRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR support experienceStrong organizational and time management skillsExceptional written and verbal communication abilitiesExperience working within an Applicant Tracking System (Workday preferred)Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience sourcing candidates through job boards and social media platformsStrong attention to detail and follow-throughProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteWhy This Role Stands OutNewly created position with growth potentialOpportunity to influence recruiting processes and candidate experienceExposure to the full talent acquisition lifecycleHigh visibility and partnership with leaders across the organizationMix of recruiting, project coordination, reporting, marketing, and event planningCollaborative hybrid work environment based in Southfield, MIIf you're energized by helping people find their next career opportunity and want to make an impact in a newly created role, we'd love to hear from you.
