The Chair will oversee clinical operations, faculty education, research, policy development, and departmental growth. Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and oversee all emergency medicine clinical operations. Serve as a faculty member in the residency program, supervising and educating residents. Lead academic initiatives including resident education and clinical research. Develop quality and safety policies to improve patient care. Collaborate with other service lines to enhance system efficiency and patient experience. Qualifications Board certification in Emergency Medicine. At least 5 years of academic leadership experience. Strong clinical background with experience driving improvements in quality and safety. Commitment to academic excellence, including prior resident education and clinical research. License or eligibility for licensure in the State of New Jersey. Exceptional interpersonal skills and understanding of clinical quality standards. Preferred academic clinical background. Compensation Salary range: $350,000 to $480,000 per year, depending on background, skills, and experience.
