Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join a patient-centered imaging team in Houston, TX. As a Mammographer, you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards, providing outstanding service and comfort to every patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using digital and/or 3D mammography equipment.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition, positioning, and exposure techniques.
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and maintain a compassionate, professional manner.
• Assist Radiologists during breast imaging procedures, including biopsies as needed.
• Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and ensure compliance with MQSA and ACR standards.
• Support a safe and efficient workflow in a collaborative outpatient imaging environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• Certification: ARRT (R)(M) required; current BLS certification preferred.

• Licensure: Valid Texas Medical Board (TMB) license as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent mammography experience preferred; proficiency with 3D/tomosynthesis equipment strongly desired.

• Compliance: Meets MQSA requirements, including continuing education and case documentation.
