The PRA is integral to support the growth and success of Accellacare as an organization. The PRA will encourage patients to participate in clinical research studies, through conducting phone screens. They will review patient's basic medical information to determine eligibility, discuss research opportunities, maintain the patient database, and report recruitment outcomes.This role is with Accellacare, part of ICON's clinical research network, where you'll play a key role in transforming the clinical trial experience for patients and sponsors alike. Our global site network is designed with one goal in mind: to deliver better access, greater efficiency, and improved outcomes in clinical research.Location: Hybrid, Onsite 4 days per week (remote 1 day/week)Raleigh, NCWilmington, NCWinston-Salem, NCRocky Mount, NCOak Lawn, ILContract Duration: 6 months, with eligibility to convert permanentHours: Full-Time, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through FridayWhat you will be doing:Screen potential study participants accordingly to protocol inclusion and exclusion criteria by asking study specific questionsReview, enter, and edit patient information into clinical trial management softwareBook patients into site schedulers ensuring that entries are accurate and up to dateRead and understand the purpose and inclusion/exclusion criteria for each protocolRespond to all leads within a 24-hour time periodIdentify appropriate study opportunities for interested volunteers based on knowledge of clinical trials and neighboring locationsProblem solve and create contingency plans to optimize enrollmentEffectively communicate the importance of research participation to volunteersProvide an exceptional patient experience by building positive rapport and consistent follow-upStrive to meet personal and team targetsWork in strict confidentiality in all forms including electronically, written forms, and verbalRemain accountable for delivering high quality, accurate work, ensuring all administration is filed accordinglyYour profile:Bachelors degree in life science, healthcare, or medical fieldClinical research site experience (strongly preferred) with an interest in a career clinical research, preferably in patient recruitmentExperience in customer service, marketing, and/or sales (preferred)Basic understanding of medical terminologyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with comfortability fielding inbound and outbound phone callsAbility to multitask while working under pressure and with tight deadlinesOrganizational skills with attention to detailComputer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to work onsite 4 days per weekEmployment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.ICON offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your health, wellbeing, and career development.Benefits may include:Competitive base salary and performance related incentivesHealth and wellbeing programmes including medical, dental, and vision coverage where applicableRetirement and pension plansLife assurance and disability coverageEmployee assistance programmes and wellbeing resourcesLearning and development opportunities through structured training and career pathwaysBenefits may vary depending on role and location.ICON is an equal opportunity employer.
