Patient Recruitment Associate I

ICON seeks a Patient Recruitment Associate to support clinical trial enrollment at its Accellacare network. The role involves screening potential study participants via phone, managing patient databases, and matching candidates to appropriate research studies on a 6-month contract basis with conversion potential.
Responsibilities
- Screen potential participants against protocol inclusion and exclusion criteria via phone
- Review, enter, and maintain patient information in clinical trial management systems
- Book qualified patients into site schedulers and ensure database accuracy
- Respond to recruitment leads within 24-hour timeframe
- Match interested volunteers to appropriate study opportunities and optimize enrollment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life science, healthcare, or medical field
- Clinical research site experience with patient recruitment interest
- Customer service, marketing, or sales experience preferred
- Basic medical terminology understanding and strong phone communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and ability to work onsite 4 days weekly
- Multitasking capability under pressure with attention to detail
