Registered Dietitians

Registered Dietitian - Part-time and Full-time Availability. 

Compensation:
Hourly Rate : $33 to $37.50 per hour
Location: Positions available in Manhattan and the Bronx, NY
Position Summary:
Maintains all clinical nutritional services for registrants. Acts as a liaison between the registrants and Food Service vendor, representing the registrants’ food preferences while maximizing compliance with their therapeutic plan of care.
Responsibilities
Schedule/Shift:
Full time, 8am to 4pm and Part time, 9:30 to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday
Key Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and reassessments every 6 months or as needed, providing ongoing diet counseling and continuity of care.
• Develop, calculate, and modify therapeutic and specialized diet plans in collaboration with physician orders, ensuring compliance with nutritional standards.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings and support performance improvement initiatives, audits, and nutrition-related education programs.
• Assist with the development and revision of cycle menus for general and therapeutic diets while respecting the cultural and religious preferences of participants.

Requirements
License and Certifications:

• Registered Dietitian

Skills

• Clinical experience in Adult Day Care is preferred.

• Demonstrates the ability to assess the nutritional status of registrants.
• Completes documentation which meets best practice and regulatory guidelines.
• Develops measure goals within individualized care plan
• Participates in interdisciplinary care conferences.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills.

• Ability to communicate and respond appropriately to the needs of the geriatric population
