Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold an active Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Virginia.
• Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Comfortable traveling to multiple sites within the district based on caseload requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, special education teams, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students.
• Develop and implement IEP-related intervention plans tailored to individual student goals.
• Conduct assessments and provide input for educational planning.
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Partner with educational staff and families to enhance student participation in classroom routines and activities.
• Adapt strategies and tools to promote student independence and access to curriculum.
