Program Analyst

This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Under Secretary for Management (USM). The primary purpose of this position is application of qualitative and quantitative methods for assessment of complex management processes, systems, and mission support programs, with additional responsibility for training and development initiatives. Non‑BU: This is a non‑bargaining unit position. Specialized Experience To qualify for the GS‑13 grade level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS‑12 grade level, performing the following duties: Serving as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including other DHS components, federal agencies, and the public Ensuring program compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal controls Identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to safeguard program integrity Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by identifying best practices and lessons learned Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
