In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining APCO's regulatory compliance by managing licensing and registration activities, supporting regulatory filings, coordinating consumer complaint responses, and driving process improvements that strengthen our compliance framework.This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple business units while partnering with regulators, external vendors, legal professionals, and internal stakeholders throughout the organization.What You'll DoRegulatory Licensing & FilingsPrepare, file, and maintain corporate licenses, registrations, certificates of authority, and regulatory filingsManage producer license applications and renewals, provider registrations, DBA filings, and Secretary of State filingsCoordinate with regulators and third-party vendors to secure approvals and maintain compliance requirementsMonitor filing deadlines and maintain accurate records of licensing and regulatory obligationsTrack changes in regulatory requirements and communicate impacts to internal stakeholdersConsumer Complaints & Regulatory Response SupportCollect, analyze, and organize information related to consumer complaints and regulatory inquiriesPrepare draft responses and supporting documentation under the direction of Legal leadershipPartner with internal departments to gather information necessary for complaint investigations and responsesAssist with tracking, reporting, and trend analysis related to complaint activityCompliance Operations & Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve compliance processes, documentation, and operational efficiencySupport integration efforts related to acquisitions and new business initiativesMaintain corporate records and compliance documentationAssist with special projects, audits, and regulatory reviews as neededServe as a resource on licensing, registration, and compliance-related mattersTeam Collaboration & LeadershipProvide guidance and support to compliance analysts and paralegal staffAssist with training and knowledge-sharing initiativesCross-train across Legal & Regulatory Affairs functions to support department flexibility and continuityBuild strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, regulators, and business partnersWhat Makes You SuccessfulYou are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced regulatory environment.
