Location and Shift Cortlandt Manor, New York - Shift: Day Flex (United States of America) - Full-time position working 6:45a-5:00p with rotation to 8:45a-7:00p once a week. On-call requirement for weeknights, weekends and holidays. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses. You will assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. You will assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. Preferred Criteria Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting. Required Criteria High school diploma or GED. Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assisting. New Graduates: Certification must be obtained within six months of hire. Must supply exam date prior to start of employment and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire.
