Registered Nurse (RN) - Baxter & Marion County Home Health Baxter Health Mountain Home , AR 7750 - Baxter County Home Health Full time , Days , 7-7 FSS Nursing Baxter & Marion County Coverage Registered Nurse (RN)/ $2,500 - $10,000 Sign on Bonus! SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse in home health provides one on one skilled nursing care and treatment to patients in their homes using a comprehensive and patient specific care plan. This position will have the opportunity to spend quality time with the patient, in the patient’s home, to promote health and independence; have autonomy in addition to the support and collaboration of a full team of healthcare professionals while managing a case load; maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations and agency policies; and provide accurate documentation and follow-up of patient findings to provide optimal patient outcomes. Adaptability is essential for the home health RN, as work schedule and daily work load change frequently to meet patient needs. Acute medical surgical experience and outstanding critical thinking skills are needed to meet the needs of the patient. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required, BSN or MSN preferred. Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing. Valid and clean Driver’s License, reliable transportation and agency required liability insurance to complete home visits. Active personal automobile liability insurance coverage consisting of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident for bodily injury required. Experience: Minimum of one-year acute care nursing experience required. Previous nursing experience in a medical-surgical environment preferred or Enrolled in the Home Health RN Residency Program at BH. Certifications: BLS required Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required. Driving required.
