Registered Nurse – PRN (As Needed) – Home Health (Dillon County) McLeod Health is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide home health care in Dillon, SC. The position is part‑time and requires a flexible schedule to meet the needs of remote patients. Job Description Responsibilities : Maintain a professional image and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers in accordance with Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Assess and implement patient care using remote care technology to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Direct Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to ensure quality patient care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff (RNs, LPNs, HHAs, PT, OT, ST, MSW) and provide field supervision of HHAs. Coordinate with Referral‑Intake‑Scheduling‑Authorization (RISA) staff, managers, Practice Support, Billing Specialists and clerical support. Perform independent nursing actions consistent with professional standards of nursing practice. Report directly to the Clinical Manager and Director of Clinical Services, McLeod Home Health. Operate within agency and unit policies and procedures. Manage own time productively and independently, complying with attendance and reporting requirements. Use own vehicle for travel to remote sites; adhere to safety protocols and transport regulations. Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensure laws, federal Medicare/Medicaid Conditions of Participation, JCAHO, OSHA, and medical‑surgical nursing practice. Exhibit good communication, interpersonal, writing, computer literacy, organization, time‑management, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Show adaptability, initiative, ethical behavior, empathy, and a positive work climate contribution. Maintain a neat, clean, and well‑groomed appearance in accordance with the dress code and attendance policy. Qualifications & Experience At least two years of nursing experience preferred. One year of home care experience highly desirable. Current valid South Carolina RN license (or multi‑state compact). Required BLS certification. Valid South Carolina driver’s license and automobile insurance; minimum age 21. Professional liability insurance encouraged. Licenses, Certifications and Training Valid South Carolina or compact (multi‑state) RN license. BLS certification (required for all nurses). Professional liability insurance (encouraged).
