Front Desk Agent & Store Lobby Associate

$18 per hour

Job Description

Prickly Pear Inn is looking for an energetic professional to work as a Front Desk Agent assisting guests with reservations and check-in as well as working in the Grumpy Ole Mule Mercantile as a store clerk helping customers in the gift shop and beer & wine store. This is a cross-utlized position and you will be required to learn and and take care of all assigned tasks necessary to operate a small Inn and Gift Shop (retail store) including the hotel reservation and store point of Sale system(s). On occasion the position may even require jumping in and assisting with hotel room cleaning as may be necessary.

Pay will start at $18.00 per hour during a 30-day training/probationary period and raised to $19 as soon as you are proficient in your duties. Subsequent raises will be based on experience and willingness to accept additional responsibility. Pay also includes a seasonal bonus in addition to your regular pay.

Job Requirements Include:

*Being available on weekends.

*Being a mature team player.

*Enjoy working with people.

*Recent computer experience.

*Able to comfortably lift 25 pounds.

*Able to stand for long periods of time.

*Able to bend and walk up stairs.

*Must be 21 year of age or older!

Current job is 2-3 days per week and can increase to FT based on season and job performance.
