Day-Time Dispatcher & Driver Manager

Job Description
We are a Phoenix-based trucking company providing professional services for our customers for over 20 years. We are looking for a full time day-time dispatcher and driver manager that has knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations, understands hours of service, and has logistics experience.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts
Address any hours of service or routing issues for drivers
Monitor road conditions, construction zones, and accidents in order to revise routes as needed
Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
Find loads for backhauls
Updating spreadsheets, reports, pass downs
Finding service centers in case of mechanical breakdowns
Monitoring the yard and opening the gate for drivers
Other miscellaneous office duties.
Compensation will depend on your experience in the industry. Knowledge with Electronic logging devices and dispatching software preferred.
