Dental Hygienist

A mission-driven community healthcare organization in Northern Oregon, near Cascade Locks , is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join its integrated dental team. Both full-time and part-time schedules may be considered.

This role offers the opportunity to provide preventive and periodontal care within a collaborative setting where dental, medical, and behavioral health professionals work together to support each patient’s overall well-being. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Provide dental hygiene services under the direction of staff dentists.
• Assess patients’ oral and periodontal health.
• Collect and document clinical evidence related to periodontal conditions.
• Develop appropriate dental hygiene treatment plans and sequencing for existing periodontal disease.
• Perform preventive dental care and patient education.
• Help patients understand the connection between oral health and overall wellness.
• Collaborate with dentists and other members of the integrated healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Deliver respectful, patient-centered care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Schedule

• On-site position.
• Full-time or part-time options may be considered.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Oregon Dental Hygiene license.
• Current Oregon dental radiology or X-ray certification.
• Current CPR and Adult/Infant BLS certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong patient communication and clinical documentation skills.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience working with marginalized, high-risk, or medically underserved populations.
• Community health or integrated care experience.

Compensation

• Starting pay of $45 per hour .
• Higher compensation may be available based on experience.
• Additional $0.75 per hour bilingual differential for English and Spanish proficiency.
