Materials Manager

Job Title

Responsibilities:

Coordinates all department activities necessary for maintaining accurate inventory levels for production scheduling while achieving department and company goals
Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures
Provides necessary support to plant production
Coordinates with other departments on new parts, sample parts, and pilot parts to ensure timely delivery performance to customers
Ensures all customer requirements are scheduled to the plant to ensure timely delivery
Participates in continuous improvement activities
Other tasks as needed by manager

Experience and Skill Requirements:

Working knowledge of computer manufacturing systems
Experienced using Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
