Position Overview

Job purpose

This position is intended to perform the necessary Finance & Accounting activities in their focusarea with minimal management oversight & a high degree of independence. Core responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to month end closing entries, account reconciliation & analysis, processmanagement & improvement and ad-hoc assignments in support of the Director Finance &Accounting or VP Finance.

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactionsare in accordance with GAAP, JSOX, and internal policies and procedures are followed

• Prepare monthly journal entries and support, in line with communicated closing schedule

• Prepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and analysis

• Assist with analyzing financial statements and provide recommendations to improvebusiness performance or efficiency

• Prepare documentation & support internal and external audit requirements as needed

• Collaborate cross-functionally to manage & improve financial, business & internal controlprocesses on a continuous basis

• Perform ad-hoc assignments or special project work for the Director Finance &Accounting or the VP Finance

• Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medicaldevice regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all otherapplicable laws, regulations, and standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

• 6+ years of Finance & Accounting experience

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong organization and analytical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent MS Excel skills; SAP experience preferred.

• Must be flexible to work late hours if needed.

Physical requirements

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed

capabilities:

• The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time.

• The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time.

• The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.

• The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time.

• Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

Travel

• Occasional (up to 25%) travel may be required based on business need.
