Director of HR Systems

Our client is seeking a strategic and innovative leader to drive the evolution of HR technology, digital transformation, and AI adoption across a global organization.
This role will shape and execute a forward-looking HR technology strategy, leveraging automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance employee experience, improve operational effectiveness, and support business objectives. Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional partners, you will lead transformation initiatives that position HR as a data-driven, technology-enabled function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver HR technology, automation, and AI strategy.
- Lead the transformation of HR systems (Workday), processes, and operating models.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and employee experience through technology and automation.
- Drive adoption of AI and emerging technologies across HR.
- Oversee HR data, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR technology and analytics team.
- Manage vendor relationships and technology implementation initiatives.
- Lead change management and stakeholder engagement efforts to support successful transformation.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and digital capability building.
Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Significant experience developing and leading HR technology and transformation programs in a complex organization. Experience within banking, insurance, professional services, etc. would be preferred
- Expertise in HR systems, data, analytics, AI, and automation technologies. Workday experience is required
- Experience driving process improvement and organizational change.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with executive audiences.
- Experience managing global teams, vendors, and strategic technology partnerships.
- A passion for innovation and leveraging technology to improve business outcomes.
This role is suited to a forward-thinking leader who can balance strategic vision with execution, driving meaningful transformation through technology, data, and AI.
