Job Opening: Rock Quarry Maintenance Mechanic (Day Shift)
Location: Corona, CA
Schedule: Morning Shift | Overtime Available
Pay: $25- $35 an hour (DOE)
Full-Time | On-Site
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at a high-production rock quarry. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on mechanical experience in heavy equipment maintenance, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on quarry equipment (e.g., crushers, conveyors, etc.)
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs in a timely manner
- Conduct inspections and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
- Support plant operations and assist with emergency breakdowns
- Follow all MSHA and company safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years in industrial or heavy equipment maintenance (quarry or mining experience preferred)
- Welding: Welding and fabrication experience is preferred but not required
- Certifications:
- Part 46 MSHA Training is required (or willingness to complete prior to start)
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in outdoor conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks
