Material Handler 1st ShiftEaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Material Handler 1st shift in Indianapolis, IN. Core hours for this role are 6:30 am - 3:00 pm. Support with all customer inquiries and promise ship dates. Essential functions include utilizing clear to build/clear to ship reports/ERP system to confirm material availability, systematically releasing work orders to warehouse floor, creating customer deliveries per schedule and pick up date, addressing various internal and external customer questions and concerns regarding shipments, billing, status, services, carriers, and other needs, tracking orders and shipments and assisting with tracing as needed, working collaboratively with GTM team and support in resolving customer trade inquiries, assisting with running and summarizing operational reports and details; presenting information to peers or supervisors as needed, investigating and resolving internal customer complaints/discrepancies with shipments and participating in corrective actions to prevent future errors, following written and oral instructions, adhering to all company policies and procedures including good housekeeping, maintaining quality workmanship, observing safety procedures, reporting unsafe acts, and performing work of equal or lower classification if necessary. Supports and participates in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain). Capable of managing multiple tasks without losing efficiency or productivity. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, Basic knowledge of WMS and inventory management systems, Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, web-based and job specific software applications, Ability to communicate potential concerns and or customer delays, Relocation is not provided.
