Job Title: Forklift Operator - Up to $25/hr

Job Description

Forklift Operators safely operate industrial trucks, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks, to load, unload, transport, and stack goods within a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory, supporting order fulfillment, and ensuring that materials move efficiently and safely through a 3PL warehouse environment.

Shifts:

1st shift: $22/hr M-F 5am - 1:30pm

2nd shift: $23.50 M-F 1pm - 9:30pm

3rd shift: $24.50 M-F 9pm - 5:30am

Weekend Day Shift: $25/hr F-Sun 5am - 5:30pm

Weekend Night Shift: $25.75/hr F-Sun 5pm - 5:30am

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, transport, and stack goods.
• Perform daily safety checks and inspections on industrial trucks and equipment to ensure proper and safe operation.
• Handle materials throughout the warehouse, including moving pallets, cases, and equipment to designated locations.
• Support general labor tasks such as organizing work areas, cleaning and maintaining warehouse spaces, and assisting team members as needed.
• Transport goods within the warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment while following established routes and safety procedures.
• Stack and store products in designated areas, ensuring proper placement and adherence to warehouse layout and safety guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Demonstrated experience operating sit-down forklifts and stand-up forklifts.
• Experience working in a 3PL warehouse environment, preferably supporting data center operations.
• Strong material handling skills, including loading, unloading, transporting, and stacking goods safely and efficiently.
• Order picking experience with attention to accuracy and detail in preparing shipments.
• Inventory handling experience, including counting, verifying, and documenting stock.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center.
• Familiarity with supporting data center logistics within a 3PL environment.

Work Environment

This role is based in a warehouse environment. You will work around industrial equipment such as sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks, as well as standard material handling tools. You should expect to be on your feet for most of the shift, working in an active distribution setting with varying temperatures typical of a warehouse operation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lockbourne, OH.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Lockbourne,OH.
