What You'll Do

Provide high-quality care to emergency department patients with diverse medical needs.
Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and symptom evaluation.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Use the nursing process to monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
Document patient interactions thoroughly and accurately.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and safety standards.

What You Need

Required:

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Emergency Room or acute care
Current BLS from the American Heart Association
CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Proficiency in computer and software use
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in teams

Preferred:

Additional certifications in specialty areas
Experience with patient education and diverse populations
