The Director of Finance serves as a member of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs team and supports the Executive Director for Administration in the coordinating the administrative operations for the Division of Student Affairs, comprised of a community of approximately 500 professional and student employees who steward fiscal resources of $90 million and approximately 1,000,000 square feet in facilities to support student success. The Director will serve as a deputy to the Executive Director for Administration and will serve the division in their absence.Primary Function of Organizational UnitThe Director of Finance is a critical position within the Division of Student Affairs, responsible for the comprehensive management of all financial activities that directly support the division’s mission and strategic objectives. This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial transactions, budget planning, and fiscal reporting, providing essential oversight that safeguards the division’s resources and promotes operational efficiency. By maintaining rigorous compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements, the Director of Finance mitigates financial risk and supports informed decision-making at all levels.
