Receptionist

Our receptionists warmly greet our guests and visitors and assist them. They answer the phones, direct calls to the appropriate department, and perform various clerical duties for leadership. It takes passion and dedication to meet the behavioral health needs of our community. For over 100 years, Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine, located in Willoughby, Ohio, has provided high-quality behavioral health and substance abuse treatment services to adults, adolescents, and children. Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: One year as a medical receptionist is preferred.
• Basic keyboarding skills required.
• Knowledge of personal computers is preferred.
• Effective communication skills is required.
• Must be able to remain calm under stress.
• Experience with basic office equipment required (fax, copier, etc.).

Skills

• Effective communication skills, able to manage high volume of calls and must be detail oriented with verbal and written communication.
• Diplomacy and discretion are essential.
• This individual must have the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Professional demeanor and appearance is required.
