Job Title Support for Scheduling Resident Transportation Services Job Description This position provides support for scheduling resident transportation services and assists with transportation of patients of the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home (Blue Goose) to scheduled and unscheduled appointments at the Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Wellstar MCG Health hospital and clinics. Additional responsibilities of primary importance include delivery and/or pick up of pharmaceuticals, floor stock from the pharmacy, resident supplies and equipment, office supplies and equipment, and administrative correspondence. Further responsibilities of primary importance include assisting with processing of records of residents within and discharged from the nursing home. Location Augusta University - Our Health Sciences Campus: 1120 15th Street, Augusta, GA 30912 Our Summerville Campus: 2500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30904 Required Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent from a state or federal accrediting organization. Must have a valid driver's license in either the state of Georgia or South Carolina. If applicable for the specific position based on the duties: the candidate will also need to have a credit check completed for Positions of Trust and or approved departmental Purchase Card usage. Motor vehicle reports are required for positions that are required to drive an Augusta University vehicle. For Faculty Hires: Final candidates will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary coursework in the form of original transcript(s). Those candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.
