HVAC Commercial Technician

HVAC TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician with proven experience in both commercial and residential systems, including refrigeration equipment. This position involves installing, servicing, and maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems in diverse environments. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, a proactive work ethic, and a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems, including furnaces, AC units, walk-in coolers, freezers, and ventilation equipmentDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issuesPerform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and tune-upsInterpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manualsEnsure compliance with HVAC/refrigeration codes and safety standardsDocument service work, materials used, and job status in service reportsCommunicate system issues and solutions clearly to customersMaintain service vehicle, tools, and equipmentRespond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotation as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical school or HVAC certification preferred)EPA Section 608 Certification requiredRefrigeration experience (residential and/or commercial) is a mustMinimum of 3 years of HVAC/refrigeration service and installation experienceStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systemsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordExcellent diagnostic and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage time efficientlyAble to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied environments (rooftops, tight spaces, etc.)BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysCompany-provided vehicle, tools, and equipmentOngoing training and career development opportunities
