Company Description Plaintiffs' firm Eardley Law is a plaintiff-focused trial law firm serving clients all over Michigan, with an emphasis on West Michigan and the Lakeshore. The firm represents individuals in a range of personal injury matters, often settling cases in the multi-million dollar range.

Role Description The Litigation Associate will work on a full-time, on-site basis at the firm’s Rockford, MI office. Some remote work will be allowed. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings, and conducting legal research. The job also involves managing discovery, taking depositions, reviewing evidence, and trial preparation. The Litigation Associate will appear in Circuit and Federal courts, serve clients, deal with opposing counsel. This position requires a sincere interest in justice. Qualifications

• Knowledge of Michigan and federal civil procedure and relevant substantive practice areas.

• Experience drafting Motions and other litigation-related pleadings and briefs.
\n
• Proficiency in legal research.
\n
• Familiarity with Depositions, including preparation, review of transcripts, and integration into case strategy.
\n
• Experience in Court.
\n
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law, or eligibility for admission, in Michigan.
\n
• Strong written and oral communication.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
\n
• Prior litigation experience, such as clerkships, internships, or law firm practice, is preferred.
