E9 Development is a growing Western Pennsylvania construction and renovation company built around craftsmanship, accountability, communication, and professional execution. We are looking for a dependable, skilled Carpenter who takes pride in the details, works well with a team, and wants to grow with a company that is building for the long term.

Our work includes residential renovations, commercial improvements, senior living and occupied-environment projects, accessibility upgrades, and complex renovation work. The Carpenter is a hands-on field position responsible for producing quality work while helping keep jobsites safe, organized, clean, and moving forward.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform framing, blocking, drywall backing, doors, trim, cabinetry, hardware, repairs, punch work, finish carpentry, and other general construction tasks.
• Read project plans, scopes, measurements, layouts, and field direction to complete assigned work accurately.
• Complete daily assigned scope before moving to another project unless directed by the Foreman or Project Manager.
• Protect finished surfaces, client property, common areas, and occupied environments throughout construction.
• Maintain clean, organized, professional jobsites and properly care for company tools and equipment.
• Identify field conflicts, missing materials, quality concerns, unsafe conditions, and scope questions before they create delays or rework.
• Coordinate closely with Foremen, Project Managers, other E9 team members, and subcontractors.
• Document completed work and project conditions in CompanyCam as required, including clear same-day progress photos.
• Support demolition, material handling, site preparation, installation, cleanup, punch-list completion, and closeout as needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Hands-on carpentry and general construction experience; renovation experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of framing, trim, doors, cabinetry, blocking, measurements, layout, and common construction tools.
• Ability to produce clean, accurate work with attention to finish quality and detail.
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and the ability to follow daily production expectations.
• Ability to communicate professionally with leadership, coworkers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Comfort using a smartphone for calls, texts, email, task updates, and jobsite photo documentation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel to E9 jobsites throughout the service area.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
