Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile position budget data and review funding worklist items for approval.
• Produce comprehensive metrics and reports from various financial and budgeting systems.
• Assist in the operation of the University's budget development and confirmation processes.
• Monitor and maintain the University's forecasting tools for budget management.
• Prepare detailed analyses of budget trends and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Consult with senior university officials to identify funding issues and solutions.
• Lead and supervise financial analysis projects and collaborate with central support offices.
• Prepare and present special reports and materials for executive review.
• Contribute to University budget presentations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or management.
• 5-8 years of experience in a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of accounting and budgeting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in leadership and teamwork.
• Ability to interact with senior management, including the Provost and President.
• Adherence to confidentiality and compliance policies.

Preferences

• Experience with SAP.
