Phlebotomist Instructor Location: 931 E Southern Ave, Mesa, AZ 85204 Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Job type: Part-time Available Schedule: Weekend Shift: Saturdays, 8:00am-4:30pm About the Role We are seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and student-focused Phlebotomy Instructor to provide comprehensive instruction in the art and science of phlebotomy. This role is responsible for preparing aspiring phlebotomists with the knowledge, technical skills, and professionalism required to succeed in the healthcare field. The ideal candidate will cultivate a positive, structured, and safe learning environment while delivering high‑quality lecture and hands‑on clinical instruction. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and adherence to educational and regulatory standards. What You’ll Do Conduct comprehensive instruction in phlebotomy, including lecture and clinical drawing sessions Deliver curriculum content clearly and effectively to ensure student understanding and competency Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment Supervise students during clinical practice to ensure compliance with safety standards Encourage and support students throughout the program to promote successful completion Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Manage onsite inventory and supplies Complete required classroom documentation in accordance with company policies Maintain productive attendance and timeliness for all scheduled classes Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards State Qualifications Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician in Arizona with a minimum of 2 years full‑time phlebotomy experience in the previous 7 years (venipuncture, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement). Must provide a copy of the phlebotomy certificate upon request. Completed a program of postsecondary education in phlebotomy from an accredited institution or a licensed post‑secondary educational institution. Must provide a copy of diploma or transcript upon request. Employment offers are contingent upon completion of a background check.
