Job Opportunity – Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg/Rehab – Colorado

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Englewood, Colorado

Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 27-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit, 5:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• Work in a newly renovated acute rehabilitation unit within a Level 1 trauma center
• Collaborative environment with dedicated rehab physicians available 24/7 for nursing support
• Manageable 5:1 patient ratios with supportive charge nurses and experienced staff
• EMR: Meditech; Technology includes iMobile on iPhones for streamlined communication
• Diverse case mix including neuro, trauma, orthopedic, and stroke rehabilitation patients
• Strong therapy partnership with engaged PT/OT/ST team and rapid response support

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current Medical/Surgical or Rehabilitation RN experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in rehabilitation, orthopedic, neuro, or trauma nursing preferred
• Active RN license in good standing

Responsibilities:

• Medication administration (PO and IV), blood administration, and pain management
• Wound care including wet-to-dry dressing changes and wound vac management
• Neuro assessments, stroke rehabilitation care, and telemetry monitoring
• Safe patient ambulation and toileting assistance with motivated rehabilitation patients
• Central line dressing changes, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring
• High-quality documentation and coordination with interdisciplinary therapy team

Equipment & Technology:

• iMobile technology on iPhones for physician/therapist communication
• IV pumps, wound vacs, bed alarms, gait belts, Hoyer lifts, Welch-Allyn vitals machines
• Computers in every patient room with telemetry at two nurses' stations
