Finance Transformation Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Finance Transformation Analyst to support a large-scale finance transformation initiative. This role will focus on validating, reconciling, and migrating financial data across SAP, PeopleSoft, and other ERP systems while ensuring data integrity throughout enterprise-wide system modernization projects. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies independently. This position will play a critical role in supporting data migration, system validation, financial reporting accuracy, and accounting process standardization across a global organization.

Skills and Requirements

Must haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• 2-4+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience

Experience with month-end close processes, including journal entries

• Experience working across multiple ERP systems

• Experience with managing large data sets relating to system integrations and data migration projects

• Ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, validate information, and correct data entry errors.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

• Experience working with updated versions of SAP

• Understanding of IFRS and US GAAP reporting - Exposure to Book of Record or similar financial transformation projects

• Experience preparing management-level financial reports (weekly/monthly)

• Prior involvement in special projects or process improvement initiatives
