What You Will Do:

• Operate an overhead crane to load and unload plates and cut pieces from the burning table.
• Review drawings, layouts, tolerances, job packets, and special instructions to determine piece count, material grade, thickness, length, and width requirements.
• Read and interpret production drawings and blueprints.
• Operate burning equipment and perform first article inspections and measurements on completed parts.
• Execute daily production schedules while meeting quality and productivity expectations.
• Mark, tag, and skid parts according to engineering and customer requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and material traceability through proper tagging, color coding, and verification processes.
• Properly identify and dispose of scrap materials according to company procedures.
• Mark grain direction on burned parts as required.
• Participate and become actively engaged in the Company Traction & L10 Process.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Previous experience operating a burning machine.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Tow motor or lift truck experience.
• Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and production drawings.
