The HR Manager leads the solo HR function across multiple sites. This role focuses on talent acquisition and workforce planning while overseeing core people operations, implementing HR systems, streamlining organizational structures and HR processes, and supporting the organization’s growth into enhancing its risk management program.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives across multiple sites.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and processes.
• Manage employee relations and support effective workplace practices.
• Administer benefits and payroll programs.
• Oversee HR analytics and use insights to inform workforce decisions.
• Lead HRIS implementation and ongoing people systems administration.
• Map organizational structures and streamline recruiting, retention, and HR processes.
• Support risk management and safety initiatives, with opportunities to expand into broader risk management responsibilities.

 

Required Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience with Excel, tech savvy.
• Experience with HRIS administration/further automating HR and talent acquisition processes.
• Experience in talent acquisition.
• Experience managing employee relations.
• Knowledge of compensation and benefits.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in human resources management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• SHRM-CP certification.
