No losing time with your family to come work with us.ResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership - familiarizing yourself with the service department & proceduresAssist Service Advisor in test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems. You will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etcCommunicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecuting repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsQualificationsMinimum of 1 year in service departmentTechnical degree preferredASE certifications preferredHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to identify the problem quicklyEffective analytical and communication skillsGood reading, computer, and mathematics skillsAbility to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specificationsAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to work on your feet for extended periods of timeAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentBasic Computer SkillsPositive, friendly attitudeCome and join the top Nissan team on Long Island.
