Phlebotomist

Typical duties for a phlebotomist may include, but is not limited to, the following: Performing phlebotomy according to established procedure Identify patients and properly label specimen tubes Determine priority of STAT draws and ensure timely transport of all patient specimens for testing Registers, orders, and accessions specimens utilizing lab and hospital information systems Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form Ensure the efficient operation of the lab as a whole NHSC Loan Repayment Approved Site: Did you know Greater Regional Health is a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) practice site?
