Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper Role

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments, and customer account activity.
• The Bookkeeper will perform bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, and account reviews to ensure accuracy.
• Enter and maintain financial data within the company's accounting system.
• Prepare and post journal entries while supporting accurate financial reporting.
• The Bookkeeper will assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Monitor unit cost variances and assist with establishing cost standards for materials and labor.
• The Bookkeeper will support the accounting team with special projects, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.

What We're Looking For in a Bookkeeper

• 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger processes.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Comfortable learning new systems and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
