Step into a vital role making a real difference for K-12 students as a Physical Therapist within a dynamic, supportive educational environment near Chester, PA. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the chance to work closely with a small, focused caseload that primarily includes students diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and ID (Intellectual Disabilities). With 35 hours per week through June 10, 2027, you'll work in an urban setting that values your expertise and compassion.

Ideal candidates will bring strong school-based experience and a current Physical Therapy license or certification in Pennsylvania. Familiarity and comfort working within diverse, urban education communities is essential, as is a readiness to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to improve student mobility, independence, and participation in classroom activities.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid PA Physical Therapy license/certification (required)
• Direct school-based PT experience
• Comfortable supporting K-12 students, including those with ASD and ID
• Willingness to obtain all required PA clearances
• Ability to work onsite; no remote options available
• Effective communicator and collaborator in urban school settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver PT services for a small caseload with minimal incidental classroom involvement
• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to support IEP goals
• Track progress, adjust interventions, and maintain thorough documentation
• Consult with teachers, families, and staff to optimize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Adhere to all school, state, and federal regulations
