The Materials Handler is essential to ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner. As part of the team, you will have an important, uniquely rewarding role putting your Materials Handler skills and experience to work in a closed-door pharmacy setting. You will make a difference by excelling in a complex, high impact dispensing role and positively impacting the lives of others. You will work alongside a team of talented individuals in a concerted team effort and under the direct supervision of Lead Technicians and Pharmacy Supervisors. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, team orientation, and problem-solving skills.You will be working in the backend of the pharmacy, where you will get an opportunity to impact the lives of thousands of patients who rely on critical medications to be shipped from our facility! You will work with a driven team of self-motivated professionals to meet individual and team production goals.You will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy warehouse by engaging in the receiving, storage, and replenishment of products throughout the warehouse facility. Your responsibilities will include moving new shipments of pharmaceutical product to be stacked in their appropriate storage spaces in the facility, pulling product to be shipped with the appropriate carriers and inspecting products for damages. In order to be successful, you will utilize scanners and other hand-held devices to maintain inventory accuracy and potentially operate manual lifts, reach trucks, and transfer equipment in order to move product throughout the facility. This role allows you to engage in an active environment while working to develop individual production skills.
